Jessica is an experienced attorney and advocate who has spent more than two decades fighting for women, children, and families. Her work spans law, education advocacy, public policy, and community leadership, giving her a well-rounded and practical perspective in serving her clients.

Jessica’s legal practice focuses on estate planning—from simple wills to complex trusts designed to protect vulnerable loved ones—along with guardianships, conservatorships, and their alternatives; assistance in supported decision-making arrangements; estate and trust administration; adoption; collaborative divorce; and civil mediation. She brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to each matter, helping clients navigate complex legal issues confidently and comprehensively.

Leadership includes serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Washtenaw Association for Community Advocacy (ACA), previously serving as co-Chair of the Washtenaw County Bar Association Estate Planning and Probate Section, a Trustee on the Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education from 2016 to 2022, where she also held leadership roles at the district and county levels, and as former Chair of the Ann Arbor Democratic Party. Her broader public service includes advocacy in Lansing and Washington, D.C., advocating for equitable public education funding and the rights of students from marginalized and underrepresented communities

Jessica lives, works, and remains actively engaged in the Ann Arbor community with her husband, three young adult children, and the family dog.
